Spanish Champions for the Second Time: Victory with Patinet Xela and Jordi Gaya

Spanish Champions for the Second Time: 2025 Xelectrics Victory with Patinet Xela, Jordi Gaya, the Ambrosini e-Racing 100SV-EVO Motor and Power Control Unit Winning a championship is never only about speed. It’s about engineering, consistency, reliability, and the ability to improve week after week. That’s exactly what defined our 2025 season. In the 2025 Xelectrics Spanish Championship, Ambrosini e-Racing became Spanish Champions for the second time, winning together with Patinet Xela and our rider Jordi Gaya. This title confirms not only performance on track, but the strength of a complete racing approach: development, coaching, trackside support, and real-world testing under pressure. 2025 Xelectrics Spanish Championship: a season built on performance and consistency The Xelectrics Spanish Championship 2025 was intense and highly competitive, with different circuits, changing grip levels, heat, and race-weekend pressure that exposes every weakness—especially in high-performance e-scooter racing. To win in this environment, you need: a fast package a reliable package a team that can adapt and deliver every weekend This is exactly what we built together with Patinet Xela. A true motorsport partnership with Patinet Xela Throughout the season, Ambrosini e-Racing supported Patinet Xela in every key area, following a professional motorsport workflow—from development to race execution. Our support included: Technical development and race setup for each circuit Electronics tuning and performance optimization Rider coaching and training, focused on pace, consistency, braking points, and race management Trackside service and assistance, ensuring fast interventions and maximum reliability Engineering support and continuous improvement, analyzing performance and refining the package session by session This combination—engineering + coaching + service—creates the consistency needed to win championships. Jordi Gaya: speed, control and a champion’s mindset A championship-winning season needs a rider who can deliver under pressure. Jordi Gaya did exactly that: speed when needed, smart race management, clean execution, and the ability to translate technical changes into real lap-time improvements. In e-scooter racing, where traction, braking stability, and power delivery matter every lap, Jordi’s professionalism and feedback were key to developing and refining the setup across the entire season. Stress-tested in real racing: Ambrosini e-Racing 100SV-EVO motor + Power Control Unit One of the most important achievements of the 2025 season was pushing our latest hardware to the limit in real competition. Throughout the championship, we tested and stress-tested: the new Ambrosini e-Racing 100SV-EVO motor the Ambrosini e-Racing Power Control Unit Racing is the toughest test bench. Heat cycles, repeated peak loads, aggressive braking, track vibration, and constant high demand quickly reveal what works—and what doesn’t. Running this package for the full season allowed us to validate reliability, performance, and consistency under real championship conditions. This is exactly how racing technology should be developed: not only in the workshop, but proven on track. Two-time Spanish Champions: proof of a complete racing system Becoming Spanish Champions for the second time confirms that our method works: a complete racing system where performance is supported by engineering, data-driven decisions, rider development, and trackside execution. This title is the result of: strong collaboration with Patinet Xela championship-level riding from Jordi Gaya continuous development and real-world validation of the 100SV-EVO motor and Power Control Unit consistent work across the entire season Thank you, Patinet Xela — and thank you to everyone supporting Ambrosini e-Racing A special thank you to the entire Patinet Xela team for the trust and shared commitment throughout the 2025 campaign. Achievements like this are built together, with aligned goals and the same racing mentality. And thank you to everyone who follows our work and supports the project. Every season pushes the level higher—and we’re committed to raising it even more. What’s next This championship is not the finish line—it’s a new standard. We will continue developing high-performance e-scooter racing technology, testing under real conditions, and supporting riders and teams with professional motorsport-level engineering and track service.

Jordi Gaya at Móra d’Ebre: A Victory of Heart, Strategy, and Precision

Jordi Gaya at Móra d’Ebre: A Victory of Heart, Strategy, and Precision The race in Móra d’Ebre — second round of the XElectrics Spanish Championship — was far more than just another competition. For Ambrosini e-Racing, it was a powerful showcase of resilience, technical mastery, and team unity.A victory that didn’t just happen on the track, but was built behind the scenes, through careful planning and collective determination. A monitored injury, managed with care Jordi Gaya competed with a leg injury, but it’s crucial to clarify: this wasn’t a reckless decision. For over a month, Jordi has been under the supervision of our medical staff, following a structured recovery program with physiotherapy, guided exercises, and ongoing evaluations. His participation in the race was approved by our medical team, ensuring that he would be racing safely, without risking immediate physical harm. The real concern: what comes next Our biggest concern wasn’t the Móra d’Ebre race itself — but what might follow. There was a real risk that pushing through the race could worsen his injury and compromise Jordi’s ability to compete in one of the season’s most critical events: the Timeforacing round of the French National Electric Scooter Championship, organized by the French Federation. An event where Jordi will proudly represent Team Spirit, the French team structure managed by Ambrosini e-Racing. A custom setup and pure efficiency To support Jordi, we chose not to unleash the full power of the scooter. Instead, our engineering team designed a smoother acceleration curve, reducing torque spikes that could stress his injured leg.And yet, despite this compromise, our scooter was still the fastest on the grid in terms of acceleration — a testament to the unmatched efficiency of Ambrosini e-Racing systems and the precision of our technical adjustments. A winning strategy… that stays behind the curtain This win didn’t happen by chance.Alongside the technical setup, we implemented a highly complex race strategy, tailored to Jordi’s condition, the layout of the track, and the dynamics of the event. It worked perfectly. And while we won’t reveal the details — that strategy remains part of our competitive advantage — it was undoubtedly one of the keys to this result. Ambrosini e-Racing: winning through responsibility and teamwork Móra d’Ebre was not our toughest competition in terms of rival performance — but it was one of our most delicate challenges.Because here, we chose to race with caution, with strategy, and with human care as our priorities. We proved that winning doesn’t always mean pushing harder. Sometimes, it means planning smarter, and protecting the long-term success of our riders. This is Ambrosini e-Racing — where every win is built with precision, passion, and the spirit of a family. Thank you, Jordi. Thank you, team. See you in France with Team Spirit! 🇫🇷🏁 Eleonora Fumagalli Writer & Blogger Un entrenamiento inolvidable con Ambrosini e-racing Eleonora Fumagalli6 de Marzo de 2024 Ambrosini e-Racing and Jordan Rand: Accelerating Toward the Future of E-Scooter Racing Eleonora Fumagalli5 de Agosto de 2024 Ambrosini e-Racing: Commitment to Sustainability and the Environment in Electric Motorsport Eleonora Fumagalli23 de Agosto de 2024 The Story of Ambrosini e-Racing: A Passion for Escooter Racing – Part 1 Eleonora Fumagalli2 de Settembre de 2024 Ambrosini e-Racing and Jordi Gaya: Champions of Spain Xelectrics 2024 Eleonora Fumagalli1 de Novembre de 2024 No te pierdas estos artículos Jordi Gaya at Móra d’Ebre: A Victory of Heart, Strategy, and Precision Xelectrics 2025: A Weekend of Testing and Top Performance for Ambrosini e-Racing Team Spirit: A New Era in European E-Racing Begins Ambrosini e-Racing E-Scooter Rider Training & Coaching Program: Take Your Racing to the Next Level!

Xelectrics 2025: A Weekend of Testing and Top Performance for Ambrosini e-Racing

Xelectrics 2025: A Weekend of Testing and Top Performance for Ambrosini e-Racing Last weekend, on March 1st and 2nd, the first race of the Xelectrics 2025 championship was scheduled at the Albaida circuit in Valencia. Ambrosini e-Racing, always at the forefront of supporting its riders and customers, backed the Patinets Xela team with Jordi Gaya and Fran Falcon, along with single riders Javi Espinosa (sponsored by Sabway, a renowned Spanish franchise chain specializing in electric vehicles), Ronni, Jeff, and Izzan. They all raced on e-scooters equipped with Ambrosini e-Racing electronics, powered by Ambrosini motors, and fitted with our RS-500s controllers. Additionally, Javi Espinosa will compete in the Eskootr Championship ESC 2025 World Championship this year. A Weekend Marked by Unstable Weather and Technical Challenges A week before the race, weather forecasts predicted rain throughout the weekend. According to Xelectrics regulations, races are not held if there is water on the track. Nevertheless, all our riders headed to Valencia, hoping for a change in the weather. Friday: Successful Free Practice and Data Analysis Friday’s free practice proved extremely productive. We gathered numerous data on the new electronic configurations, and our riders posted impressive lap times, emerging as the fastest on the track compared to other teams. In the afternoon, after analyzing the riders’ feedback, we further refined the programming of the RS-500s controllers, increasing our gap from the competition. Jordi Gaya set the fastest lap, finishing 2 seconds ahead of the second-fastest rider. Saturday: Technical Testing in the Rain and Innovative Solutions On Saturday morning, with rain in the forecast, the organizers canceled all official qualifying sessions according to the regulations, allowing only free practice sessions. Although some riders were not ready to race in wet conditions, our team had the exclusive advantage of fully waterproof vehicles. With Jordi Gaya and Fran Falcon, we transformed the canceled race into an opportunity for intensive testing. We fine-tuned the e-scooters and tested various PMT rain tire solutions: PMT Junior R, PMT Rain, and PMT Slick R, analyzing performance and developing strategies to tackle heavy rain conditions. Sunday: Extreme Race Simulation and High Performance On Sunday, with even heavier rain and critical track conditions, we conducted a race simulation with Jordi Gaya. The results were outstanding: lap times demonstrated the effectiveness of the RS-500s controller programming. The vehicle performed with exceptional stability and maneuverability, even under the most challenging conditions. Ambrosini e-Racing’s RS-500s controllers are unique, delivering high performance combined with true waterproof resistance, enabling our riders to face any weather without compromise. Crash Testing: Safety and Innovation Safety is a top priority at Ambrosini e-Racing. In a controlled setting and under the supervision of professional motorsport engineers, we simulated two crashes for Jordi Gaya. By remotely reprogramming the controller during the ride, we induced a rear-wheel slip under heavy rain and nearly unrideable track conditions. These tests allowed the rider to learn how to fall safely, minimizing injury risks, while providing us with crucial data on the behavior of our e-scooters during an incident. The results were extremely positive: neither the vehicle nor Jordi Gaya sustained any damage, confirming the effectiveness of our safety protocols. Conclusions: Ready for New Challenges in the Xelectrics 2025 Championship Despite the absence of an official race, the weekend at Albaida, Valencia was a valuable opportunity to collect data and enhance the performance of our e-scooters. The results provide a strong impetus for the upcoming rounds of the Xelectrics 2025 championship. Ambrosini e-Racing continues to prove its worth on the track, offering cutting-edge technologies and ever more high-performance solutions. We are ready to face new challenges and push the limits of electric vehicle performance. See you at the next race! Step 2: The Importance of Optimizing the Frame for a Competition E-Scooter

COMPETITION SCOOTER: STEP N.2 – STEERING AXLE REPLACEMENT FOR SUPERIOR RELIABILITY In the world of electric scooter competitions, every single component can make a difference. Ambrosini e-Racing is committed to ensuring that our vehicles are built to withstand the toughest challenges on the track. The second step to perfecting your competition e-scooter is replacing the steering axle, a key part for safety, precision, and durability during races.   Why is it essential to replace the steering axle? The steering axle is a crucial component for the scooter’s steering system. If it is not designed correctly or has reliability issues, it can compromise the riding experience, especially during high-speed conditions. The original Nami aluminum axle has been found to be unreliable, with the risk of breaking during rides, leading to dangerous situations for riders.   Our reinforced steel axle: the right choice Our reinforced high-quality steel steering axle has been developed to offer better resistance and durability compared to the original axle. The new version of the Nami axle, although reinforced, features only one locking nut, which prevents the ability to properly adjust the steering cone bearings. This reduces the ability to perfectly adjust the geometry of the steering, negatively affecting maneuverability and stability. Our design, however, includes two locking nuts, which allow for optimal adjustment of the cone bearings, ensuring smooth, precise, and safe handling.   Benefits for Motorsports   1. Increased Rigidity and Stability The reinforced steel axle not only withstands more wear but also offers greater rigidity, which is essential for maintaining stable and precise steering under race conditions. 2. Optimized Steering Geometry With the correct adjustment of the cone bearings, we can optimize geometry, allowing for better maneuverability and ultimate control even at high speeds. 3. Durability and Resistance to High Stresses Electric scooter racing demands components that can withstand extreme stress. Our steel axle is designed to handle these conditions, ensuring long-lasting performance and superior durability. 4. Superior Performance in Races A smoother ride, with no play, and improved steering responsiveness can make a crucial difference in competitive racing. Our solution ensures the best performance in any racing environment. 5. Enhanced Safety for Riders The additional resistance of our axle and the ability to properly adjust the bearings ensure better control and safety. During races, having a stable and responsive steering system is crucial to preventing accidents or malfunctions that may compromise rider safety.   Important Assembly Notes To ensure optimal performance and long-lasting durability of the steering system, follow these key assembly tips: Replace the bearings: Use bearings of the same size but of high quality, such as SKF bearings. This is essential for ensuring smooth rotation and reducing wear. Lubrication: Grease the bearings thoroughly with high-quality grease. Proper lubrication is key to ensuring low friction and preventing premature wear of the components. Proper bearing adjustment: Perform a perfect adjustment of the bearings. Make sure that the bearings are correctly positioned, with no play or excessive friction, as even small errors can affect overall performance. Nut tightening: When tightening the nuts, add medium-strength thread locker to prevent loosening during use. This ensures that the system remains stable even under extreme stress.   Conclusion Investing in the right steering axle is crucial to getting the most out of a competition e-scooter. Our reinforced steel axle, with two locking nuts, solves the issues of the original Nami version, allowing for optimal adjustment of the cone bearings. Not only does it improve maneuverability and stability, but it also increases the overall durability and performance of the scooter, enhancing race-time performance. 🚀 What’s next? Step 1: The Importance of Optimizing the Frame for a Competition E-Scooter

Competitive E-Scooter Preparation Step by Step: A Guide to Modifications and Innovations by Ambrosini e-Racing When preparing a competition e-scooter (or e-scooter racing), the temptation to boost power immediately is strong. However, it’s crucial to understand that the best approach starts with the stability and efficiency of the vehicle, not just sheer power. The first essential step in preparing an e-scooter racing is optimizing the foundation: the frame and structural components. In particular, the steering column and handlebar must be the starting points.   Why Start with the Frame? When working on a competition e-scooter or e-scooter racing, the stability and rigidity of the frame are essential. An optimized frame provides the foundation for a scooter that responds quickly to commands without sacrificing safety or control, especially during crucial race moments. In our development process, one key aspect has been the elimination of unnecessary points of flexibility. A scooter with too many added components risks having more play and more wear. The philosophy of Ambrosini e-Racing starts right here: «less is more.»   Steering Column and Handlebar: The First Key Modification A crucial aspect when preparing a competition e-scooter is the steering components. The steering column and the handlebar are among the most important elements to optimize. An imprecise steering system or lack of rigidity severely impacts performance on the track. 🔧 The modification we recommend for this first step involves the steering column and the handlebar. Too many assembled parts, screws, and unnecessary joints are not the right approach for a race e-scooter. It should not become a “Lego” with multiple elements and an excessive number of screws because each additional part can be a potential point of failure. Instead, the aim is to create a monolithic structure to reduce any possible mechanical play and increase overall rigidity.   The Key Modification: Aluminum Steering Column with Carbon Handlebar After testing various materials like carbon, aluminum, and titanium, we developed a final kit combining the aluminum steering column and carbon handlebar, designed to maximize rigidity and lightness. This kit is designed to perfectly respond to race conditions and deliver excellent performance in every situation. A decisive element of this modification is the simplified structure: the kit features just two mounting points. This eliminates the need for additional joints and unnecessary fastenings, reducing the number of screws and superfluous components. Each part of the kit is designed to ensure maximum stability and reliability while riding, without compromising lightness. Therefore, there is no need for a structure similar to a «Lego,» where each part is separated by screws and redundant components. Another important consideration is the overall weight of the kit, specifically engineered to improve front-end stability and traction of the scooter. The combination of aluminum and carbon offers the ideal balance between rigidity and lightness, enhancing the scooter’s overall performance during races. Finally, the two mounting points must be secured using high-resistance screws, designed to withstand the mechanical stress on the track. We recommend grade 10.9 screws for optimal strength. This choice depends on the pilot’s height and riding style. For example, a rider who prefers a more aggressive approach might need a lower steering column, while a rider looking for more comfort might opt for a taller one. If you have any doubts about the correct steering column height for your riding style, feel free to contact us. We’ll help you choose the perfect height for optimal performance and maximum safety.   Ambrosini e-Racing’s «Less is More» Philosophy Unlike a «Lego» assembly, where each part is added without a real need, a competition e-scooter requires a careful selection of components. Every single element must have a specific function and contribute to improving overall performance, without complicating the structure unnecessarily. Ambrosini e-Racing has won many races applying this preparation philosophy, even against e-scooters with powers up to three times higher. For instance, at the Spanish Championship stage in Murcia, Javi Espinosa, our coach and current pilote in the Eskootr Championship (ESC), overcame more powerful e-scooters with stability issues. Similarly, Jordi Gaya, Spanish Xelectrics National Champion 2024, earned several podiums, defeating more powerful e-scooters with less stable frames and steering systems.   «Power Without Control Is Counterproductive» We’ve proven that a well-optimized e-scooter racing, with a solid and stable frame, can beat scooters with greater power but poor stability. As the famous saying goes, «power without control is counterproductive,» and Ambrosini e-Racing has made this philosophy its banner.   Next Steps and Future Developments In the next article, we will dive into the second key modification to take your competition e-scooter to a new level of performance.
