was founded in 2022 by <strong>Mario Francesco Ambrosini<\/strong> with a clear goal: to redefine the future of <strong>electric scooter racing<\/strong>, combining <strong>advanced technology<\/strong> and a deep passion for motorsports.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Challenge of Javi Espinosa<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the first projects in <strong>Ambrosini e-Racing\u2019s<\/strong> history was the development of a <strong>competition electric scooter<\/strong> for <strong>Javi Espinosa<\/strong>, a professional rider and veteran of the first <strong>eSkooter Championship (ESC)<\/strong> World Cup. After completing the championship, Javi needed a new vehicle for training that would surpass the limitations of those available on the market.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Javi lives in <strong>Madrid<\/strong>, while our headquarters are in <strong>Barcelona<\/strong>. Despite the distance, we collaborated closely with him through regular video calls. During these sessions, Javi consistently emphasized two critical aspects for his new <strong>competition e-scooter<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Power delivery<\/strong>: Should be uniform yet more aggressive compared to ESC scooters to simulate even more competitive racing conditions.<\/li>\n \n<li><strong>Stability<\/strong>: Needed to handle high-speed turns and maneuvers with maximum safety.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Designing the eScooter<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We chose the <strong>NAMI Burn-E<\/strong> as the base for this project, an <strong>e-scooter<\/strong> of high quality that provided the ideal structure for advanced customizations. On this base, we implemented a series of technical modifications to meet Javi&#8217;s needs.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Custom Components<\/strong>: We developed custom <strong>rigid suspensions<\/strong>, upgraded the controller for better power management, and designed a new <strong>aluminum steering column<\/strong> with variable height for improved handling. Additionally, the brake system was replaced with a <strong>Shimano<\/strong> setup, fine-tuned to enhance sensitivity and heat dissipation during aggressive use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Optimized Motors<\/strong>: We improved the motor windings and reworked the bearings to ensure higher power output and greater durability. These modifications allowed for faster acceleration and more stability in high-speed corners, while maintaining motor reliability even under high stress.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Upgraded Battery<\/strong>: The battery was upgraded to a <strong>72V 50Ah<\/strong> configuration, designed to provide longer range and optimal performance during intense training and racing sessions. With this setup, the <strong>e-scooter<\/strong> could handle long, demanding events without compromising power delivery or battery life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The First Test<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once the <strong>Nami 50R<\/strong> was complete, the day for its first debut in Javi&#8217;s hands had arrived. We decided to test it across <strong>5 circuits in Spain<\/strong> over <strong>6 days of hard work<\/strong>. The excitement and nerves were palpable as we saw the <strong>e-scooter<\/strong> in the pits while Javi prepared for the session.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a general inspection and initial setup, Javi began his first test session. After <strong>4 laps<\/strong>, Javi came back to the pits, and we were all anxious. But when he told us:<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00abGuys, the vehicle is amazing! It&#8217;s <strong>stable<\/strong>, the <strong>power delivery<\/strong> is perfect, and the handling in corners is incredible. This is the best <strong>competition e-scooter<\/strong> I\u2019ve ever ridden!\u00bb<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Success of the Nami 50R<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From that point on, the <strong>Nami 50R<\/strong> began achieving great success in <strong>electric scooter racing<\/strong>. Not only was Javi able to train effectively, but the vehicle also proved its worth in competitions and testing.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Spoiler<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, Javi continues to race with the same <strong>base e-scooter<\/strong> we originally developed for him, albeit with some updates to further enhance its performance.
